EVAC System

EVAC Defined

The Oil Evacuation System (or EVAC, for short) uses vaccuum pressure to remove used oil from engines, transmissions, and gearboxes. We have had great success with this amazing product and have satisfied the needs of countless customers in countries all over the world.

This method of changing oil has been ahead of its time since the product's inception. Automotive manufacturers are designing cars with sensitive oil drain plugs in oil pans made of soft metals. Other manufacturers have developed cars with no oil drain plugs at all. Many automotive industry think tanks believe all new cars will eventually have oil sumps without drain plugs as we know them.

Environmental hazards are decreased with the EVAC system. Oil is suctioned out of the vehicle and pumped into a storage tank. A tank truck arrives at the site several times a week to transport the waste oil to a recycling center where the used oils are recycled. This process invloves nearly no physical contact by humans.

How the EVAC System Works

1.) A high pressure evacuation wand is inserted into the oil dipstick tube until it touches the bottom of the oil pan.

2.) An electric vacuum pump removes all of the oil, sludge, and solid particles from the bottom of the oil pan.

3.) The technician monitors the amount of oil removed by watching the indicator lights on the EVAC machine.

4.) After all of the oil has been removed, the technician adds new oil.

Consumer Benefits

The EVAC 7000 has numerous advantages to the consumer. The most prominent and noticeable differences in and EVAC oil change is that the oil drain plug is not removed. This eliminates the wear caused by removing and installing a drain plug time and time again. Also, there will never be a case where your drain plug may be leaking. Perhaps the biggest advantage to evacuating oil over draining is that more oil, sludge and solid particles are removed from the oil pan. Service time is also decreased, and in the busy lifestyles of today, time is invaluable

However, there are some other great reasons for visiting stores with the EVAC system that you may have never considered. Compared with conventional oil draining facilities, EVAC stores are much cleaner and environmentally friendly. Oil is pumped directly from the engine to a waste storage tank, and then it is pumped to a tanker truck for recycling. This also protects our employees by minimizing their contact with hazardous materials.

Furthermore, stores with the EVAC system in place have the ability to provide more services like automatic transmission fluid changes. You may question if this service is comprehensive as we do not remove the transmission pan and change the filter. However, many vehicles on the road today either have no transmission filter, or their manufacturers recommend not changing them.

Quick 10 Oil Change Center

Dear John:

With 5 years of operating history on our EVAC-6500 oil evacuation systems, it's time to share Quick 10 Corporation's experiences with you.

Quick 10 made a major operations procedure shift in equipping our three newest oil change Centers with the EVAC-6500. The vacuum pump oil extraction method has proven to be a fast, efficient, way to service the convenient oil change center customer. Our savings on oil change center construction costs have been substantial. Technicians quickly master the operating procedures for the machines, and using the EVAC-6500 results in a cleaner oil change center since we have reduced oil plug removal to the absolute minimum.

Our centers have enjoyed good operational reliability with the EVAC-6500 machines and support for spare parts and replacement wands has been excellent.

All in all, our use of the EVAC-6500 has been very successful, and we look forward to installing more machines as we continue our expansion program. You have produced a solid, well engineered system that will figure prominently in Quick 10 Corporation's growth.
