Fuel System Service “Temporarily not Available”

“Temporarily not Available”

At Oil Changers we offer a Fuel System Service for our customers who are looking to restore fuel economy & performance to their vehicle. Performing our Fuel System Service helps remove harmful carbon deposits from the fuel system, intake manifold and combustion chamber.

Overtime, carbon, gum & varnish deposits build deep within your engine, affecting gas mileage and robbing your vehicle of the performance that it deserves. Our Fuel System Service provides a total fuel system cleaning that will improve fuel economy, reduce emissions and increase performance.

Stage 1:

The Fuel System Cleaner gas additive removes carbon deposits from fuel injectors. It corrects the injector spray and balances fuel/air ratio, ultimately helping to restore gas mileage and improving engine performance.

Modern vehicles, like those with gasoline fuel injection, are finely tuned and extremely sensitive to deposits that build up in fuel injectors, intake valves and ports. These deposits can cause problems such as hesitation, misfire, stumble and rough idle, poor gas mileage and performance loss.

Stage 2:

The Intake System Cleaner vacuum induction restores fuel economy by cleaning the intake manifold, combustion chamber and pistons with immediate results.

Heavy deposits build up over time due to noxious exhaust gases and crankcase vapors captured and fed back into the intake manifold. Gummy substances contained in the vapors combine with dirt and form deposits. Drivability problems such as rough idle, poor performance and increased exhaust emissions result from heavy deposit buildup.

If you have noticed a loss in performance or gas mileage the Fuel System Service may be a good option for your vehicle.

Oil System Cleaner

At Oil Changers we offer an Oil System Cleaner for our customers who have extended or missed an oil change and would like to Clean up the left behind residue. Our Oil System Cleaner’s unique formula gently dissolves the soft sludge and gives your fresh oil a clean start it can do the job it was designed to do.

Engine sludge is caused by a combination of heat, friction, water, dirt, unburned fuel and other contaminants causing the oil to oxidize. Sludge, if not treated will continue to build up and plug up necessary oil passage way’s increasing engine operating temperatures in your engine resulting in a lack of lubrication which can cause premature engine failure. By virtue of their design, some OEM’s have had issues with sludge, among them are BMW, Chrysler, Toyota, Lexus, Mercedes, Volkswagen, saab and Audi. If you have one of these vehicles, we highly recommend the service.

Changing your oil regularly and using an Oil System Cleaner is a safe and effective way to eliminate the buildup of sludge in your egine. If your oil change is past due, your oil appears to be excessively dirty or maybe you just purchased a used car, our Oil System Cleaner may be a great option for you. It is not a miracle cure for badly neglected engines but can prevent harmful levels of build up when used as directed.

would you like us to clean your engine before we put the fresh oil in?

Coolant Service

Radiator Coolant is something many of us only inspect by one criteria: “Is there enough?”. In actuality, your coolant is like all of the fluids in your car. Coolant wears out, losing it’s additives over time. Eventually, the efficiency of your coolant drops. Furthermore, coolant gets dirty. Unlike the engine’s oiling system, your car’s cooling system does not have a filter to trap dirt and other contaminants. If left to circulate for long periods of time, contaminants could block essential water passages in the engine, preventing the coolant from doing its job.

Auto manufacturers know this, and recommend coolant service intervals in your owner’s manual. Most cars have an expected coolant life of 30,000 miles, or 24 months, however, some newer cars are more efficient and make use of high-tech coolants.

In the past, your options were to take your vehicle to a garage and drop it off for the day, while the service was performed. Extra charges such as hazardous waste disposal, parts and labor are all added into the equation, driving up your bill. Another alternative is buying a flush and fill kit and taking several hours to do the service at home. Finding a way to capture all of the waste fluid is extremely difficult, and you are usually left with fluid draining into the streets or soaking into the ground.

The “Coolant Changer” uses a suction connection at the radiator spout to draw out the old radiator fluid. The unique, patented process of the machine will extract water vapor, even during very low temperatures. This is due to the change of gravity pressure within the engine. After all of the used coolant is removed from the vehicle, a valve is turned, and the new coolant automatically is transferred to the vehicle.

This is possible due to the vacuum created inside the cooling system. The new coolant is drawn into the vehicle and no air pockets are created. The entire process takes place at the radiator spout (or overflow tank, if not equipped), making for a clean, fast, and environmentally sound transfer of hazardous fluids.

Another big advantage of the Coolant Changer is the clear tubes for liquid containment shows how dirty the old coolant is. First we remove the used coolant from your vehicle. Then, the entire cooling system is flushed and replaced with fresh coolant.

Dex-Cool Coolant is more expensive, but vehicles that use Dex-Cool coolant have much longer coolant service intervals. Generally, GM cars and trucks built after 1994 use Dex-Cool, as well as several other car makes and models.

High Mileage Oil Changer

At Oil Changers we offer a High Mileage Motor Oil option for our customers who would like added protection for higher mileage engines. An oil change using High Mileage motor oil will aid in extending your engine’s life by addressing the specific issues that affect high mileage vehicles.

Our High Mileage oil option blends factory required oil with a combination of agents and additives that reduces oil burn-off and consumption, revitalizes seals and gaskets, provides additional anti-wear protection, minimizes engine deposits and increases power and fuel economy.

High Mileage motor oils are recommended for vehicles with more than 75,000 miles including all types of modern gasoline engines found in passenger cars, SUVs, light vans and trucks.
